Springtime Technologies GmbH sucht erfahrene Senior Engineers, die die Automations- und Datenfähigkeiten hinter Invoicetrack vorantreiben. Sie gestalten, bauen und betreiben Backend-Dienste, arbeiten eng mit Produktmanagement zusammen und setzen AI-gesteuerte Prozesse ein, um menschliche Touchpoints zu reduzieren.

Qualifications

• Erfahrung mit Python-Backends und RESTful APIs.
• 5+ Jahre Berufserfahrung in Production-Python-Systemen.

Deine Rolle im Team

• Build the function. Own the story. We are growing our Automation engineering team and we are on the look out for senior engineers. The team builds the services behind Invoicetrack's automation and data capabilities, working closely with product management on a clear goal: fewer human touchpoints for every invoice.
• You are a senior engineer with real ownership. You design, build and run what you ship, and you help shape how the team works.
• One of these roles carries stronger technical leadership: setting standards, guiding design decisions and raising the quality of the whole team.
• Work with AI agents daily. Tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot are your default way of working, and you know what to delegate and when to take the wheel.
• Own what AI produces. You give agents clear context and review their output critically, accountable for its correctness and security.
• Writes AI ready specs with testable acceptance criteria before any code is written.
• Hands whole tasks to AI coding agents and checks the output against the spec.
• Has the agent write tests first; nothing merges until CI and coverage checks pass.
• Reviews by outcome, not line by line, and improves the team’s shared skills and conventions.
• Raise the team’s game. Share prompts, tools, skills and workflows that work.
• In the technical leadership role, set the standards for how the team works with AI.
• Build the automation finance teams rely on. Design and build Python services.
• Own back-end services and RESTful APIs from design to production, with clean, tested and maintainable code and clear API contracts for everything that consumes them.
• Shape the architecture. Lead back-end architecture and data modelling decisions, applying clean architecture, domain-driven design and proper separation of concerns so the platform stays scalable, fast and maintainable.
• Put AI to work. Integrate LLM APIs and AI/ML components into production services, and approach every design with one question: what can a model automate, enrich or replace?
• Set the quality bar. Establish coding standards and best practices through code review, design discussion and example, and give feedback that helps other engineers improve.
• Work with product. Turn product problems into technical solutions with the product manager, and push back when there is a simpler or better way.
• Run what you build. Ship through CI/CD pipelines, building application images with Docker and deploying them to Kubernetes, then monitor, troubleshoot and improve services in production for enterprise customers.
• Grow the team. Share knowledge, support other engineers and help hire the people who join after you.

Unser Angebot

• The minimum gross salary for this position is €3,954 per month, as determined by the IT Collective Agreement.
• The actual salary will be based on your qualifications and experience.

Qualifikationen

• An AI-first way of working. You use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude as your default in daily development, not occasionally.
• A working understanding of CI/CD pipelines, building container images with Docker and running services on Kubernetes.
• You work well with engineers and product managers, and you make the people around you better.
• You want to make a difference, take ownership and hold yourself to a high standard.
• A track record of setting standards or leading technical decisions is a strong plus, and essential for one of the two roles.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.

Erfahrung

• A senior engineer who makes a difference. Senior Python experience. 5+ years of professional experience building production Python systems, with strong fundamentals in software design, testing and performance.
• You have hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI) or AI/ML components into production applications.
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed systems, and building on relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus, though not required.
• Experience building production UIs with React and TypeScript, including state management, component architecture and front-end performance, is a strong plus.
