AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG in Leoben, Austria, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and align business units with execution teams. You will drive transparent reporting, governance, and disciplined project delivery across functions.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial PM, PMP/PRINCE2/MSP preferred, and a proven ability to manage complex programs in a global manufacturing context.

Competenze

• 5+ years of proven project management experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably semiconductors or advanced electronics manufacturing.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP are strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence in matrixed, multicultural organizations.
• Deep knowledge of project lifecycle management, portfolio governance, risk management, and resource allocation.

As Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the critical interface between Business Unit Program Management and local execution teams, ensuring strategic alignment, transparency, and successful delivery of key initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic projects by supporting the Business Unit Micro Electronics and facilitating communication across departments and functions to ensure fast-track execution and organizational alignment.
• Define and maintain program structure, governance, and escalation paths to ensure transparency and control by applying best-in-class PMO principles and executive reporting practices.
• Act as a team motivator across all program layers in order to drive pace and performance by creating clarity of purpose and focus on achieving project goals in time, quality and cost.
• Coordinate all workstreams across sites and functions at Business Unit level to ensure integrated project execution by aligning stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Engage with Operations and other executive functions to translate strategic intent into executable plans by fostering collaboration.
• Build, manage and support business cases behind major programs to allow executive decision-making by understanding customer requirements, technology direction, and market dynamics.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across functions to drive joint accountability and progress by fostering structured collaboration and clear role assignment.
• Ensure timely delivery of critical project milestones to achieve business growth and commercial success by monitoring performance metrics and initiating corrective actions when needed.

Your Profile

• Graduate degree in applicable area of expertise (Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Business Engineering).
• 5+ years of proven working experience in project management in an industrial manufacturing environment preferably in semiconductors or advanced electronics manufacturing.
• Recognized certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Program Management certifications (e.g., MSP®) are strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of proven record in project management or leadership positions in an industrial environment.
• Direct exposure to R&D, Procurement, Operations and supervisory board environments is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and influence in matrixed, multicultural organizations.
• Deep knowledge of project lifecycle management, portfolio governance, risk management, and resource allocation.
