Job summary

AT&S in Leoben, Austria, seeks an Engineer PE/CAM Software Systems to drive smarter production and shape high-end PE/CAM systems. You will develop and refine PE/CAM processes, turning complexity into smooth operations with automation.

In this role you will work with Java-based tools, Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, MSSQL, Perl, and Shell scripting, collaborating with IT and external partners to keep systems secure and up to date. German and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL, HTBLA, FH, or university) or several years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java.
• Experience with modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
• Understanding of relational databases like MSSQL.
• Experience with Perl and Shell scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux systems and Windows Server is an advantage.
• Good spoken and written German and English skills for internal and external communication.
