Job summary

AT&S, headquartered in Leoben, Austria, seeks a Program Manager to lead strategically important programs across sites and functions. You will translate business objectives into executable roadmaps, align executive leadership with operations, and drive high-impact initiatives in a dynamic global manufacturing environment.

You will build governance, manage stakeholders, and mentor teams to deliver on cost, schedule, and quality targets while collaborating with cross-regional partners.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical/ Electronic Engineering, Physics, Business Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project, program, or portfolio management within industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional programs across multiple sites and international teams.
• Proven track record of delivering business-critical initiatives with measurable impact.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership within matrixed, multicultural organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact programs across multiple sites and functions to achieve strategic objectives.
• Translate BU strategy into executable program roadmaps to accelerate growth, excellence, and profitability.
• Coordinate cross-functional program teams across Operations, Technology Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, IT, and Commercial.
• Establish governance, reporting frameworks, risk management processes, and escalation mechanisms for timely executive decisions.
• Drive transformation programs improving cost, delivery, quality, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop business cases, investment proposals, and portfolio recommendations based on market opportunities and resource needs.
• Mentor program and project managers and implement best practices across the Business Unit.
