I’m supporting an established technology company looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join its development team.

This is a hands‑on engineering position focused on designing, developing and optimising reliable firmware for embedded systems. You’ll work closely with hardware and testing specialists throughout the complete development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop and optimise embedded firmware using C/C++


• Create, analyse and review firmware requirements


• Develop firmware in accordance with relevant standards, including IEC 61508


• Contribute to software architecture decisions, focusing on modularity, reusability, security and performance


• Perform static code analysis, unit testing and systematic debugging


• Participate in code reviews through a pull‑request workflow


• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes


• Apply DevOps practices and agile development principles


• Work closely with hardware and testing teams to coordinate interfaces and develop test strategies


• Set up and test electronic digital circuits using laboratory equipment and measuring instruments
