Jobtailor seeks an experienced embedded software engineering lead to drive firmware development for microcontroller-based products. You will lead a cross-functional team, align with hardware, product management, and QA, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across locations.

The role requires strong Embedded C/C++, RTOS expertise, and experience with Scrum/Kanban. Excellent German and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Several years of experience in embedded software development, ideally including leadership of developer teams.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C/C++, real-time operating systems, and embedded hardware.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with GitLab, Jira, or Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the embedded development team.
• Support the team's growth and development.
• Select suitable candidates in collaboration with the People Operations department.
• Take responsibility for efficient, high-quality firmware development for microcontroller-based products.
• Collaborate closely with hardware development, product management, and QA.
• Plan resources and prioritize tasks across projects with project managers.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, best practices, and QA processes at all locations.
• Serve as the point of contact for new firmware projects and firmware-related topics in product development.
• Participate in technical discussions and decision-making processes.
• Continuously optimize development processes.
