Qualysoft GmbH, working for a leading telecommunications provider in Austria, seeks a Senior Product Owner (E-Commerce) to own an existing online shop and drive the setup of a new shop based on the group solution.

The role is hybrid in Vienna, ASAP start, 9 months, 100% capacity, with a daily rate of €480–€520. You will coordinate with cross-functional, international teams and stakeholders across business and tech.

• Structure, steer and motivate an international team with a focus on India.
• Serve as the central point of contact between business departments, development teams and external partners.
• Align with internal and external stakeholders in large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with the local team (German) and the central team (English).
• Proactively drive topics, identify risks early and manage several parallel workstreams.
• Communicate decisions, status and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.

For our client, a leading telecommunications provider in Austria, Qualysoft is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner (E-Commerce) to take ownership of an existing online shop while building up a new e-commerce shop in parallel, based on a predefined group solution.

Location: Vienna

Start: ASAP

Duration: 9 months

Capacity: 100%

Working model: Hybrid, 2 days per week on site in Vienna

Project language: German and English

€480 - €520 a day

Your Responsibilities

As a key contributor to an international squad, you will own the product on the business side and drive delivery under ambitious timelines with high management attention.

• Take over product ownership of the existing online shop and, in parallel, of the setup of a new e-commerce shop based on the group solution
• Prioritize features, bugs and defects and maintain a transparent, well-structured backlog
• Structure, steer and motivate an international team with a strong focus on India
• Serve as the central point of contact between business departments, development teams and external partners
• Align with internal and external (group-level) stakeholders in large-scale projects
• Collaborate with the local team (German) and the central team (English)
• Proactively drive topics, identify risks early and manage several parallel workstreams
• Communicate decisions, status and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management

Your Profile

• Senior-level experience as a Product Owner (or in a comparable role) in a technical environment
• Strong background in e-commerce
• Experience in large projects with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in international, distributed teams (offshore/nearshore, ideally India)
• Proactive, self-driven working style; able to motivate and structure a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure, internally and externally
• Quick comprehension of complex processes and relationships
• Good technical understanding and comfort in a technical setting (this is a business role, not an IT role)
• Fluent German and English

Nice to Have

• Background in the telecommunications industry
• Experience with group-defined platform solutions and central teams
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
