Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Staff Testing Engineer, Powertrain to own and govern the test infrastructure for AMP-2 Powertrain across multiple test cells. You define architecture, governance, calibration standards, and correlation methodologies from initial commissioning through ramp to SOP.

You will be the senior technical authority on Powertrain test and drive cross-functional problem solving and ownership transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in test engineering for EV Powertrain or related fields.
• 5+ years in senior technical roles.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred is not stated here.
• ISO 17025; greenfield launch experience; digital test data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Powertrain test infrastructure including DU EOL, Battery EOL, Inverter test, Dyno cells.
• Define test system architecture, hardware, software, and data standards.
• Govern test cell readiness and validation; ensure MSA and Gauge R&R compliance.
• Own test-data architecture and integration to MES and analytics platforms.
• Define test coverage, sequences, limits, and pass/fail criteria; drive correlation across sites.
