The Department of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity, Institute of Geomatics at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead an independent research group focused on advanced machine learning and deep learning for remote sensing applications, including satellite Earth Observation and 3D sensing.

You will publish regularly, secure external funding, and teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels while mentoring

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Geosciences or related field.
• Excellent English; German beneficial.
• Experience with ML/EO data and academic publishing.

Aufgaben

• Establish own research group focusing on ML/DL for remote sensing.
• Publish in journals and present at conferences.
• Teach courses at BSc/MSc levels and supervise students.
