Job summary

Scalable Capital is hiring for a platform and infrastructure role focused on mission-critical, real-time trading systems. You will work on the runtime and operational environment across cloud and physical infrastructure, including AWS, Linux hosts, networking, containers, and deployment workflows.

You will design, operate, and improve reliability and observability, building infrastructure as code and secure access patterns. Collaboration with software engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable practical background.
• Experience with dedicated host strategies and low-latency networking.
• Strong production infra ownership for distributed or real-time systems.
• Hands-on AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, KMS, S3, SQS, SNS) and related tooling.
• Networking expertise: routing, DNS, load balancers, security groups.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure end to end across cloud and physical environments (AWS, Linux hosts, networking, containers, runtime ops).
• Design and improve infrastructure for performance-sensitive services with repeatable benchmarks (throughput, tail latency).
• Operate and troubleshoot network paths across VPCs, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, connectivity.
