DL Remote in Klagenfurt/Graz is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to lead architecture for the platform layer, bridging a mature core system with new applications. You will draft and implement backend services, APIs, and scalable infrastructure for a product in daily real-world use.

The role requires deep OO language experience (Java, C#/.NET, or Python) and ownership of technical decisions, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, with strong English communication and a focus on DevOps

Qualifikationen

• Senior Backend or Full-Stack developer with long-term product development experience.
• Strong OO language skills in Java, C#/.NET, or Python.
• Proven architecture ownership for scalable solutions.
• Experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Good knowledge of containerization, CI/CD, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Interested in early-stage team setup and shaping workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop resilient backend systems and API endpoints for our central platform.
• Define and substantiate technical architecture and design choices for upcoming modules.
• Regularly improve, scale, and tune existing services with core platform infra.
• Integrate new functionalities into a legacy system via clean interfaces.
• Own production performance, reliability, and deployment processes.
• Act as a technical advisor to guide frameworks and methodologies.
