Job summary

AlphaTauri in Austria is seeking a Senior Outerwear Designer to create compelling outerwear collections for men and women, following seasonal concepts and targets. You will translate trends into wearable, high-quality designs while keeping fit and function at the forefront.

You will lead fittings with development, pattern and sourcing teams, maintain SAP/ PLM data and produce Techpacks, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• English fluent; German skills are beneficial.
• Extensive experience with outerwear, fabrics, function and treatments.
• Strong trend and market research skills.
• Superior organizational skills, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Look no further! We are currently seeking a Senior Outerwear Designer to join our team and play a key role in the creation of our collections at AlphaTauri.

Creation of Outerwear designs

In this role you'll create outerwear designs while following the seasonal concept, briefing, set targets for men and women.This will involve understanding current trends in the fashion industry and determining how to incorporate them into our designs while also ensuring that the clothing is functional and wearable for our target audience.

Conduction trend research and innovation ideas

As of our Senior Outerwear Designer you'll be at the forefront of trend research, idea innovation, and driving our key product group.

Fittings and collaborating with Technical Development team

You'll lead fittings alongside our dedicated teams from development, pattern, and sourcing. Your input and collaboration are crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of fit, quality, and style.

Maintaining SAP (PLM) data

Not only will you be responsible for managing SAP data and creating Techpacks, but you will also have the opportunity to utilize strategic thinking to enhance operational processes and workflows.

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field

4+ years of professional experience in a similar role

English fluent, German skills are beneficial

Extensive experience and technical of Outewear, fabrics, function and treatments, bestseller shapes for menswear and womenswear

Strong Trend research and market research skills

Superior organizational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail and creativity

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR2.760,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
