Job summary

AT&S, a leading global manufacturer of high-end IC substrates and PCBs, is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Manager in Leoben, Austria. You will lead governance, program execution, and hands-on deployment of OE across selected sites, partnering with site leadership to ensure transparency, alignment, and measurable impact on cost, productivity and quality.

Your profile includes a Master’s degree and 7+ years in OE or related fields, with senior leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Operational Excellence, Consulting, PM/Program Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven track record in large-scale transformation and cost-competitiveness programs.
• Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification is advantageous.
• 5+ years in senior management or leadership roles in industrial manufacturing.
• Direct experience with procurement, finance, and board-level interactions is a plus.
• Applications from Austria, Malaysia or China are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize operational improvement opportunities with site leadership.
• Translate opportunities into initiatives with targets, ownership, and impact.
• Drive OE projects focused on cost, productivity, quality, lead time, and working capital.
• Challenge execution, remove barriers, and escalate risks.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Establish KPIs, reporting standards, and benefit-tracking mechanisms.
• Deliver OE training and coach leaders and teams.
• Share and deploy best practices across AT&S sites.
• Support corporate transformation programs and cross-functional workshops.
