Job summary

OMV Group in Vienna seeks an Advisor Mergers & Acquisitions Energy (gn) to lead senior transaction workstreams and perform advanced financial analyses. You will independently build and challenge models, valuations and transaction structures while coordinating with Finance, Tax and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience including M&A and transaction execution.
• Ability to independently build, review and challenge complex financial models, valuations and transaction structures.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication with senior management and boards.
• High level of independence, ownership and responsibility for sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of M&A projects across OMV’s value chain from preparation through signing and closing.
• Lead independent valuations, purchase price allocations and financial analyses for transactions.
• Develop and challenge integrated financial models covering P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Design transaction structures and tax considerations, including asset vs. share deals and post-closing implications.
• Lead the M&A workstream in due diligence and prepare decision materials for senior management.
