Job summary

edenity is consolidating regional platforms onto a Java/Kotlin modular monolith and is hiring engineers to design and migrate services. You will work on scalable REST APIs and data modeling across multiple countries within an agile team.

The role requires strong Java/Spring, PostgreSQL/Redis expertise, and a high degree of autonomy in an async, remote-first environment with European teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Java and Spring expertise.
• Relational DB design with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• CI/CD best practices and code reviews.
• Familiar with AI coding tools like Copilot.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build self-contained modules within a modular monolith, collaborating with the solution architect.
• Bring regional systems onto the shared platform and migrate integrations.
• Model complex data relationships and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for multi-country use.
• Build, secure and maintain scalable REST APIs.
