• Liaise with external and internal auditors during walkthroughs and testing
• Support quarterly SOX 302 certifications and disclosure controls for the site
• Ensure GDPR-compliant handling of personal data evidence and coordinate works council engagement
• Conduct regular check-ins and training on SOX methodologies for junior team members
• Supervise and mentor the Jenbacher SOX Analyst

Jobbeschreibung

In this role, you are responsible for leading the execution of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance activities for the Jenbacher site, based at the INNIO Headquarters in Jenbach, Austria.

Jenbach is the largest site and lead factory of the INNIO group, producing gas engines and spare parts. You will coordinate SOX activities and support the Jenbacher Operations and Finance teams, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with global and local requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate SOX compliance activities for the Jenbacher site, ensuring alignment with global SOX strategy
• Guide and support control owners on control design, documentation, and effective operation, ensuring audit-ready evidence
• Plan and execute SOX walkthroughs, update process maps, confirm key controls and sample sizes
• Test design and operating effectiveness of controls, document results, and track remediation of deficiencies
• Coordinate with IT SOX on IT-dependent controls, key report validations, IPE testing, and validation of User Access Reviews (UARs), Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, privileged access, and break-glass usage
• Liaise with external and internal auditors during walkthroughs and testing
• Support quarterly SOX 302 certifications and disclosure controls from the site
• Ensure GDPR-compliant handling of personal data evidence and coordinate works council engagement as required under Austrian law
• Conduct regular check-ins and training on SOX methodologies for junior team members
• Supervise and mentor the Jenbacher SOX Analyst, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) is a plus
• 5–7 years’ experience in ICFR or external/internal audit, with experience guiding control owners, SOX experience is a plus
• Expert knowledge of COSO, SEC SOX 302/404, PCAOB expectations; ERP/IAM familiarity
• Experience in EU regulatory environments; knowledge of Austrian labor/works council basics and GDPR principles
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Flexible, proactive learner with a clear, problem-solving mindset who consistently meets deadlines
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non‑EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
