Zusammenfassung

Bio-LogX FlexCo (Vienna Biocenter) seeks a Lead Scientist - Functional Immunology to design and execute in vitro functional assays, analyze data, and drive translational evidence for clinical proof-of-concept studies. You will supervise lab technicians and collaborate with CRO partners in translational immunology projects.

Requirements include a PhD in immunology/oncology or related field, 3+ years post-PhD experience, and strong flow cytometry and cytokine analysis skills.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Immunology, Oncology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience following your PhD (biotech or pharma setting).
• Hands-on expertise in immune-cell biology and cellular assay development.

Aufgaben

• In-house assay development: design, optimize, and execute in vitro functional assays to evaluate lead molecules.
• Cytokine biology: evaluate cytokine-mediated activity and support selection of engineered variants.
• Mechanism-of-action and target-engagement studies: characterize target engagement and downstream responses.
• CRO coordination: oversee studies with CRO partners, including in vivo and ex vivo models.
• Data interpretation and communication: analyze data and contribute to study design and strategy.
• Supervision and mentoring of lab technicians.
