Parallel Bio is building a human-first drug discovery platform using immune organoid models to accelerate therapeutics development. The role focuses on designing and executing experiments that reveal translatable immune biology, with independence to drive work from bench to data interpretation.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in immunology or related fields and have 5+ years in biotech/pharma research, including tissue culture, organoid work, and immune profiling.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in immunology or closely related life sciences.
• 5+ years of biotech/pharma research experience, preferably translational or in drug development contexts.

Aufgaben

• Design, execute and interpret immune organoid experiments in tissue culture with primary human cells and stem cell models.
• Establish and optimize assays for immune activation, cell phenotyping and functional response.
• Connect bench observations to drug development decisions and design relevant experiments.
• Lead open-ended work, making scientific and technical calls to progress the program.
• Set project priorities, manage multiple workstreams, and document results for transfer to other teams.
• Collaborate with computational and automation teams to enable platform scaling.
