Job summary

The Medical University of Vienna invites applications for a Senior Scientist (pre-doc) to contribute to the SAMPO project. The role focuses on economic evaluations, budget impacts, and equity analyses within a major EU-Horizon program.

Fixed-term, part-time (20 hours/week) until 30 September 2030, with start possible 7 January 2027. Collaboration with international partners and potential involvement in teaching or the Doctoral Programme Public Health are available.

Qualifications

• Background in health economics or economics with research experience.
• Ability to conduct economic evaluations and resource use analyses.
• Experience with literature reviews and data synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse economic analyses including economic evaluation, budget impact and equity analyses.
• Prepare, collect and analyze resource use, cost and health outcome data.
• Conduct literature and source reviews.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with international partners.
• Support preparation of scientific outputs and project result disseminations.
• Involvement in teaching or Doctoral Programme Public Health may be possible.
