Kapsch Group in Vienna seeks a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to design, develop and industrialize hardware components for ETC and ITS. You will work across the lifecycle with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust hardware solutions.

The role emphasizes analog/digital/high-frequency circuit design, EMC compliance, prototyping, testing and thorough documentation. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience in system and circuit design with EMC-compliant design and testing.
• Strong hardware development skills including measurement, prototyping, testing and simulations.
• Experience with technical documentation and design specifications.
• Fluent in English (C1); German language skills are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop hardware components for ETC and ITS, translating complex demands into innovative solutions.
• Define and implement product requirements into hardware architecture and specifications.
• Develop analog, digital, power supply, and high-frequency circuits ensuring quality and performance.
• Support approvals, industrialization and maintenance of hardware products.
• Create simulations, algorithms and software to validate hardware functionality.
• Maintain comprehensive development documentation throughout the lifecycle.
