Zusammenfassung

TietoTech Consulting is seeking a (Senior) Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data platforms and data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Austria and Germany. You will drive governance, leverage Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, and contribute to modern CI/CD practices.

Fluency in German (C1) and English is required, with a strong consulting mindset, ownership, and a passion for learning new data and AI technologies.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, platforms, and data integration interfaces.
• Strong expertise in data modeling (e.g. dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization).
• Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure is preferred but experience with AWS or GCP is equally welcome) as well as tools like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and architectural patterns such as Medallion.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data solutions tailored to business needs, including the development of governance structures and access control concepts.
• Design, implement and optimize robust data pipelines using modern frameworks such as Databricks or similar technologies.
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, including containerization and orchestration.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for our customers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
• Monitor, optimize and ensure the performance, scalability and reliability of data workflows.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in data engineering and apply innovative approaches to solve complex challenges.
