TietoTech Consulting is seeking a (Senior) Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines for business needs. You will work across governance, access control, and modern frameworks to deliver data-driven solutions.

We value strong Python/SQL skills, cloud experience (Azure preferred), and a consulting mindset. Fluent German and English for stakeholder discussions are required, with a flexible hybrid work model across Austria and Germany.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
• Strong data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization).
• Proven cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP welcome).
• Proficient in Python and SQL; comfortable with AI-assisted stakeholders.
• Solid software engineering mindset; familiar with Git and CI/CD.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and solutions tailored to business needs, including governance and access control concepts.
• Design, implement and optimize robust data pipelines using Databricks or similar technologies.
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, including containerization and orchestration.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of data workflows.
• Stay up to date with latest trends in data engineering and apply innovative approaches.
