Zusammenfassung

GATX Rail Europe is seeking a Senior Business Analyst Controlling to advance automation, standardize processes and strengthen reporting across Europe. You will drive the controlling development roadmap and coordinate with IT and business partners to improve data quality and transparency.

In this role you will progressively assume more operational Controlling responsibilities, including monthly closing, budgeting and management reporting, and business partnering with management and operations

Qualifikationen

• 7-10+ years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance Transformation, Business Analysis or comparable functions
• Strong understanding of controlling processes, planning, forecasting and management reporting
• Experience working with ERP and BI systems, ideally SAP and Power BI
• Knowledge of data modeling, reporting architecture or business intelligence solutions
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, results-oriented and self-driven working style
• Fluency in English

Aufgaben

• Drive the implementation of our controlling development roadmap and identify further improvement opportunities
• Analyze, redesign and optimize controlling processes with a clear focus on automation, standardization and leveraging efficiency
• Identify and implement digital solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data quality and transparency
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and coordinate stakeholders from Controlling, IT and the business.
• Design and implement new reporting solutions, dashboards and performance management tools.
• Further develop budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes and tools
• Participation in monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation of management reports, business analyses and decision support
• Business partnering with management and operational stakeholders
• Identification of risks, opportunities and performance improvement measures
