Zusammenfassung

GATX Rail Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst Controlling to drive the transformation of our European Controlling function. The role focuses on automation, process optimization and modern reporting, while progressively taking on business partnering responsibilities across Controlling and IT.

You will lead cross-functional projects, design new dashboards, and support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or comparable field.
• 7-10+ years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance Transformation, Business Analysis or similar.
• Proven track record in process optimization, automation initiatives and project management.
• Experience with ERP and BI systems, especially SAP and Power BI.
• Knowledge of data modeling, reporting architecture or BI solutions.
• Strong analytical, conceptual skills and hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Drive the implementation of the controlling development roadmap and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze, redesign and optimize controlling processes with a focus on automation and standardization.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data quality and transparency.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects across Controlling, IT and business.
• Design and implement new reporting solutions, dashboards and performance management tools.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes and tools.
• Participate in monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare management reports, analyses and decision support.
• Business partner with management and operational stakeholders.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance improvements.
