Kapsch is seeking a senior technical professional to join an international team shaping Connected Vehicle solutions. You will influence design and delivery on complex global projects, collaborate with experts across the organization, and contribute to product roadmaps based on customer requirements.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, architecture, risk management and end-to-end project support, including design, procurement, implementation, testing and training.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of experience on technical projects, tenders and cost estimation.
• Deep knowledge of Connected Vehicle standards and regulatory landscape.
• Fluent German and English; other languages advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Support Sales and Solutions Consultants in developing technical solution concepts for RFPs, tenders and RFIs
• Assess requirements, develop solution approaches and contribute to estimates
• Develop and document logical system architectures and ensure proposed solutions meet technical, performance and contractual requirements
• Identify technical and operational risks and contribute to RFP/project risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Lead or contribute to special assignments aimed at improving existing products, developing new solutions or enhancing operational processes
• Support Product Managers in identifying project-specific product enhancements and R&D requirements
• Contribute to product roadmaps based on customer and project requirements
• Support awarded projects by working with Project Managers and customers to clarify and translate requirements into actionable and unambiguous technical solutions
• Lead the technical effort on selected RFPs and/or projects when required
• Support the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, implementation, commissioning, testing and training
• Ensure projects meet agreed requirements regarding scope, quality, cost and timelines
• Maintain close collaboration with internal stakeholders across Traffic, Tolling, Sales and Project Management
