Job summary

Machine Learning Reply Austria seeks a Cloud Engineer to join our Vienna team and help design, deploy, and operate CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure with a strong DevOps mindset.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development and operations, applying IaC, container orchestration, and monitoring best practices, while offering flexible work arrangements, modern equipment, and opportunities for certification.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable.
• Fluent in Python, Go, Bash/Shell, or Ruby.
• Extensive containerization and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift.
• Hands-on configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with monitoring/logging: Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, Datadog.
• Familiarity with agile concepts like Scrum.
• Excellent German and good English, willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

Tasks

Use your DevOps know-how and work closely with our customers to help them assess and solve their most relevant pain points!

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  

• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision, configure, and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure efficiently.

• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure system reliability, performance, and quick issue resolution.

• Facilitate collaboration between development, operations, and other teams to align processes and ensure smooth project delivery

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards throughout the development and deployment process.

Qualifications:
