Job summary

B&R Industrial Automation GmbH seeks a motivated procurement professional to oversee both operational and strategic purchasing. You will handle inquiries, tenders, supplier negotiations, and master data coordination to ensure material availability and a robust supply chain.

The role involves collaboration with production planning and logistics, working onsite with about 10 home-office days monthly, and requires strong communication in English (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in operational or strategic purchasing in an industrial setting.
• Experience with price and contract negotiations with international suppliers.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP, in a structured procurement process.
• Strong understanding of business processes and KPIs; able to translate needs into actions.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inquiries, tenders, and market analyses, including price and contract negotiations within serial production.
• Take responsibility for quantity contracts, delivery schedules, and logistics agreements with international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, price developments, and manage PCN/EOL topics.
• Act as an interface between production planning, order management, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure a stable supply chain.
