Zusammenfassung

Senior Accountant (m/f/d) is sought to join SystemsAccountants' finance team in Austria. The role involves day-to-day accounting across two Austrian entities, including AP/AR, bank postings, reconciliations, and year-end activities, with exposure to live events, merchandise and e-commerce.

The position is based in Korneuburg, with 3 days in the office and fluency in German and English required. You will work with ERP systems such as Vario/Odoo, handle USD transactions, and support intercompany

Qualifikationen

• Several years of professional accounting experience, including balance-sheet work.
• Bilanzbuchhalter qualification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting principles, particularly UGB.
• Experience with annual accounts, accruals, provisions and fixed assets.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank accounting and reconciliations.
• Fluent German and English; strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day accounting across two Austrian entities.
• Handle AP/AR, invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Manage bank postings, reconciliations, and cash accounting.
• Process travel and employee expense claims.
• Support preparation of annual financial statements per Austrian UGB.
• Post accruals, provisions and period-end adjustments.
• Oversee fixed-asset accounting including depreciation.
• Support tax documentation with external advisors.
• Handle foreign-currency transactions (USD).
• Assist intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Reconcile e-commerce transactions (Shopify, PayPal, Stripe).
• Account for shipping costs and returns.
• Work with ERP systems like Vario and/or Odoo.
• Assist finance team with reporting and reconciliations.
