Zusammenfassung

OMICRON electronics GmbH is seeking an IT Security Operations Analyst to operate and continuously enhance security systems. You will plan and integrate threat-detection solutions, monitor alerts, and coordinate incident response with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes strong German and English communication, resilience, and teamwork in an international setting with an in-house canteen and mobility support.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science or IT-related field, or several years of Security Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, IT security network analysis and incident handling.
• Experience with SIEM systems and IT security tools (firewall, email, ICT).

Aufgaben

• Operate and continuously improve IT security systems.
• Plan, implement and integrate security solutions for threat detection (SIEM, XDR, SOAR, Vulnerability Management).
• Monitor alerts and analyze incidents, prioritise countermeasures and coordinate with responsible teams.
• Maintain IOCs in security-relevant systems and review data from security intelligence sources.
• Contribute to the Information Security Management System organization.
