Job summary

Zoku Vienna is seeking a Kitchen Helper for its Rooftop Living Kitchen Restaurant. You’ll support the kitchen to stay clean, organized, and HACCP-compliant while assisting with basic food preparation and mise en place so chefs can focus on creating great meals.

You’ll work across mornings, afternoons, and evenings with flexible hours (16–40 hours) in a vibrant, international team. English fluency is required; EU work permit for Austria is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a kitchen or stewarding.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• EU resident or valid work permit for Austria.
• Flexible with no fixed working days or hours.
• Able to work 16-40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running by keeping equipment, dishes, utensils and workspaces clean and ready for service.
• Support the chefs with food preparation and mise en place.
• Handle deliveries, storage and waste following food safety guidelines.
• Maintain HACCP and deep cleaning schedules to stay compliant.
• Collaborate with front- and back-of-house to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Uphold Zoku Brand Service Standards in the Living Kitchen.
