ALTEN in Vienna is seeking an Experienced Test Manager Rolling Stock to lead test planning, coordination, and execution across the project lifecycle. You will ensure comprehensive testing during bids and projects, including external tests and train-level validation, while aligning test strategies with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires a solid background in rolling stock, knowledge of railway standards, and strong German/English communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Railway Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in test management, verification, validation, or commissioning of complex technical systems.
• Experience in the rolling stock industry and understanding of railway vehicle systems and operations.

Aufgaben

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of test and verification activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure completeness of all testing activities during bid and project phases, especially tests outside vehicle commissioning and train-level testing.
• Develop, consolidate, and maintain overall test strategies aligned with customers and key stakeholders.
