Alstom in Vienna seeks a Control Engineer to drive control solutions from architecture to detailed specs for train systems. You will design low-voltage and software controls, prepare ICDs, and work with system engineers and project teams to ensure safe, efficient train control delivery.
The role requires 1–2 years in related engineering, fluent English and German, and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a hybrid working model and a permanent position.

From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 720 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity™ tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission‑free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Train System Domain Leader and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for executing control engineering activities across one or more functions—from system architecture to detailed specifications, interface definitions, and logical diagrams. You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality train control solutions.

The minimum salary for this position is € 47.546,94 EUR gross annually for full‑time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
