Rosendahl Nextrom GmbH is expanding into AI-driven robotics, building a research and engineering team to develop adaptive industrial robots and intelligent systems for real-world production environments.

As a Robot Learning Research Engineer, you will design and implement ML algorithms for humanoid and industrial robots, integrating computer vision, reinforcement learning, and control systems to enable perception, learning, and skilled action.

Qualificações

• Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with real-time robotic controllers and hands-on hardware.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience with robotic platforms and simulators (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, PyBullet).
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2 and proficiency in Python and C++.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.
• A valid work permit for Austria is required.
• Relocation to Austria (Graz - Pischelsdorf Area).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and apply Vision Language Action (VLA) models, multimodal transformers, and large foundation models to enable advanced robot perception, reasoning, and decision-making.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art robot learning methods, including reinforcement learning (RL), imitation learning, policy optimization, and sim-to-real transfer.
• Build scalable pipelines for robot data collection, sim-to-real transfer, and continual learning across digital twins and real-world deployment.
