Job summary

Apple invites an RF System Validation Intern to apply software and automation to characterize the downlink RF subsystem in state-of-the-art cellular modems. You will learn by assisting engineers, developing automated tests, and expanding regression coverage across RF tests.

You will collaborate with Systems, HW, FW, and SW teams while building debugging scripts, analyzing logs, and reporting KPIs to drive test effectiveness and product readiness.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in CS, CE, EE, or related field.
• Excellent Python programming skills required; C/C++ or Matlab a plus.
• Strong software fundamentals and scripting for automation.
• Experience with data post-processing, statistics, visualization.
• Foundational RF knowledge or interest desired for applying software to RF domain.
• Familiarity with lab environments and RF test equipment preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and collaborate in a global team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Study system specs to identify RF validation use-cases.
• Implement and debug automated tests to build regression campaigns.
• Expand test coverage with improved automation.
• Develop scripts to parse logs, analyze data, and visualize KPIs.
• Collaborate with System Eng, HW, FW, and SW teams on RF issues.
