Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a UI/UX Director based in Austria. This executive, hands-on design leadership role focuses on elevating UI/UX quality across sophisticated web and e-commerce experiences.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, bridge creative vision with front-end execution, and own design systems, accessibility, and data-informed decision-making. Remote work with major brands and client strategy involvement.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of digital design experience with executive-level leadership.
• Expert UI design with front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS) and modern frameworks.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, prototyping, design tokens.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms Shopify and Adobe Commerce.
• Strong UX principles, information architecture, responsive/mobile-first, WCAG.
• Ability to interpret data and translate into design strategy.
• Operational and financial acumen: capacity planning and budgeting.
• Strong storytelling, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Leadership to mentor multidisciplinary teams; collaboration across functions.
• Interest in AI tools and rapid prototyping.

Aufgaben

• Set creative and technical direction for UI/UX initiatives.
• Lead mobile-first design across web and omnichannel experiences.
• Oversee design systems, component libraries, and handoffs.
• Provide design leadership for ecommerce on Shopify/Adobe Commerce.
• Ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Use data and insights to inform design strategy.
• Evaluate AI tools to accelerate prototyping and workflows.
• Mentor UX/UI designers and foster autonomy and collaboration.
• Own resource allocation, estimation, and budgeting for projects.
• Lead client discussions, proposals, and new business pitches.
• Translate client objectives into digital strategies for senior stakeholders.
• Advocate human-centered design and measurable outcomes.
