Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Austria is seeking a Software Craftsperson/Typescript‑II to own end‑to‑end software initiatives, focusing on scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications. You will apply software craftsmanship, TDD, and modern engineering practices across the lifecycle.

You’ll work with OpenAI and Claude ecosystems, agentic workflows, and browser‑based experiences, while mentoring peers and shaping AI‑native development practices.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with complex production systems.
• Strong hands‑on TypeScript experience for production-grade apps.
• Experience building AI/LLM powered applications and agentic workflows.
• Familiar with OpenAI, Claude or similar ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Own complex software initiatives end to end from design through production readiness and improvement.
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript.
• Design and deliver production-ready features balancing scope, quality, and performance.
• Build AI-powered applications using LLMs, agents, and agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Mentor engineers and promote learning and craftsmanship.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate design, development, and delivery.
• Develop browser-based experiences including Chrome Extensions when needed.
