Job summary

Erste Digital, part of Erste Group, offers a part-time internship in IT analytics based in Wien. You will create reports, analyses and data visualizations to support decision-making, develop SQL queries, and specify business requirements in statutory reporting.

The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and a proactive, analytical mindset. The program runs for 12 months at 20-30 hours per week with a monthly gross salary of 3267€ for Bachelor students, 3400€ for Master students.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university or FH program, preferably in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Banking and Finance, or related field.
Good understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with SQL.
Good understanding of the banking business as such.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
A curious mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Enthusiasm for teamwork and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Create reports, analyses, evaluations, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
Develop and maintain database queries using SQL.
Specification of business requirements in the area of statutory reporting.
Work independently on analytical tasks while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, specialist departments and developers.
Understand the complexities of a bank but still think outside the box.
