Partner Company is seeking an Agentic Software Engineer to contribute to an intralogistics system deployed across Europe. The role blends software engineering with AI-assisted, agent-based development, working with Go, Java, React, and Oracle DB.

You will review existing code, validate implementations, and help ensure reliability in real-world operations. The position offers remote work with flexible location and at least 50% engagement, with opportunities to visit European sites and support

Qualifikationen

• Completed or advanced studies at ETH Zurich in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and critically assess code written by others, including unfamiliar codebases.
• Familiarity with Go, Java, React, and Oracle Database, with the ability to work with these technologies in a practical development context.
• Practical experience with, or a strong interest in, agent-based software development, AI-assisted engineering, and code verification.
• Basic understanding of intralogistics and logistics processes and how software supports operational workflows.
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both German and English and confidence communicating in a technical, collaborative environment.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of an intralogistics system being rolled out across multiple European locations.
• Use AI-assisted and agent-based software development approaches to support efficient implementation and engineering workflows.
• Read, understand, evaluate, and verify existing code and implementations, particularly within complex or unfamiliar codebases.
• Work with technologies including Go, Java, React, and Oracle Database as part of the development environment.
• Assess implementations against functional and technical requirements and help identify potential issues or improvements.
• Develop an understanding of how software solutions interact with real-world intralogistics and logistics processes.
• Where applicable, travel to European operational sites to review and validate implemented solutions in their actual environment.
