Job summary

Bybit EU GmbH, based in Vienna, Austria, seeks a qualified Legal Counsel to build and oversee compliance programs. You will work in-house to ensure adherence to Austrian and EU regulatory frameworks such as MiCAR, MiFID and PSD II, while supporting licensing and reporting obligations.

In this fast-paced, regulated environment, you will collaborate with internal teams, conduct risk assessments, and monitor regulatory changes to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB/JD/Mag. iur./LL.M. or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience, ideally in-house or regulatory context.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken. Austrian/German practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs under MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify non-compliance and corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, guiding the business on necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and training.
• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports and maintaining licences in Austria.
• Support the business in obtaining and maintaining licences and regulatory approvals in Austria.
