Unknown is seeking a Regional Service Manager to oversee service and fleet reliability across locations in Austria. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with regional performance oversight, reporting to executive leadership and driving safety, uptime and cost efficiency.

You will lead Workshop Supervisors, Service Coordinators and Technicians, ensure maintenance to OEM and standards, and manage budgets and warranty recovery while adhering to WHS legislation.

Qualifikationen

Our client is a national leader in the hire, sale and servicing of onsite access equipment built on employee development, safety, strong team culture, and fast, reliable customer service. As their footprint grows, they're looking for a Regional Service Manager to take charge of service and fleet reliability across allocated locations.

The Opportunity

This is a senior operational and technical leadership role. You'll be responsible for the safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective service and maintenance of the plant and equipment. You'll lead Workshop Supervisors, Service Coordinators and Technicians, act as the senior escalation point for complex service issues, and balance hands‑on technical leadership with regional performance oversight, reporting directly to the executive leadership team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and operational oversight to service teams across the region
• Lead, coach and develop Workshop Supervisors, Service Coordinators and technicians
• Ensure all EWPs are serviced and maintained to OEM requirements, manufacturer bulletins and Australian Standards
• Drive preventative maintenance discipline to minimise breakdowns and downtime
• Oversee service scheduling, job prioritisation and labour utilisation across branches
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex or recurring EWP faults
• Liaise with OEMs on technical support, training, product updates and warranty claims
• Manage regional service budgets, parts usage and warranty recovery
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and safety systems, including incident reporting and corrective actions

Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrated experience managing service and maintenance teams
• Direct hands‑on experience with plant and equipment including EWPs and telehandlers
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, electrical control systems, and drive and steering systems
• Proven experience in equipment hire, access or mobile plant environments
• Open/unrestricted car licence and High Risk Licence
• Regional or multi‑site service leadership experience highly regarded
