Hitachi Rail Limited in Vienna invites a Software Engineer for Dependable Systems to join the TAS Platform team. You will contribute to a safety-critical real-time hard- and software platform for the railway domain, focusing on safe middleware, fault tolerance, and secure communication.

You will work in distributed teams, apply agile processes, develop, integrate and verify safety- and security-related functions, and participate in architecture workshops.

Qualificações

• Completed technical education in Informatics or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Strong C programming knowledge; C++ beneficial.
• Experience with embedded real-time systems and safety-related apps.
• Good Linux knowledge and development environment skills.
• Understanding of distributed consensus and virtualized systems.
• Experience with agile development and teamwork.
