Genetec Inc. in Vienna is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join an agile development team. You will design and execute manual and automated tests for web and mobile apps, analyze defects, and drive quality from planning to release.

You’ll work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright or Cypress, and AI-powered tools, ensuring excellent UI/UX and continuous process improvements across cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite in Vienna.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of software quality assurance experience in an agile environment.
• Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive ownership, solve problems, and continuously improve product quality and team practices.
• Solid knowledge of QA processes, test design techniques, and test management tools.
• Programming experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve testing and automation workflows.
• Eye for UI detail and focus on user experience.
• Familiar with browser developer tools and basic SQL knowledge.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

What your day will look like

• Be an integrated part of an agile software development team and contribute to quality from planning to release.

• Proactively identify quality risks, drive improvements, and help shape testing processes and quality standards within the team.

• Participate in feature planning and refinement discussions to ensure quality is considered from the start.

• Experience. You have 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance within an agile environment.
