Job summary

ALPLApharma is seeking a Global Project Manager – Injection Moulding to lead pharmaceutical packaging, closures and medical device projects from concept to production handover. You will manage cross-functional teams across international sites, define deliverables, and drive qualification, validation and industrialization activities.

The role requires strong English and German, 5+ years of pharma project management, and willingness to travel 15–20% to support global implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in pharma, medical devices, healthcare packaging, plastics or injection moulding
• Strong technical understanding of injection moulding and industrialization processes
• Experience with qualification and validation activities
• Completed technical education or comparable professional experience
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured and solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
• Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills in an international environment
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 15–20%

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmaceutical packaging, closure and medical device projects from project kick-off through industrialization and production handover
• Manage complex project portfolios involving multiple products, moulds, production sites and industrialization activities
• Define and align customer requirements, product specifications, project scope and deliverables
• Coordinate closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams across Commercial, Quality, Operations, and Technical Procurement
• Drive tooling, sampling, qualification, validation and production readiness activities
• Identify and manage technical, operational, quality and project risks
• Take ownership of project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communication
• Support industrialization, process development and manufacturing transfers across our international production network
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 15378, customer requirements and internal standards
• Secure successful project approval, production release and project closure
