OMV Group is offering a Professional AI Transformation Trainee position in Austria. The program provides hands-on experience with Generative AI, Agentic solutions, intelligent automation and machine learning while addressing real business challenges at a large energy company.

You will work with IT, data scientists and digital experts in agile teams, gaining exposure to enterprise platforms and scalable AI services while advancing your career through structured upskilling opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a Master's degree in relevant fields.
• First practical experience in AI, data analytics, software development or digital technologies is a plus.

• Identify AI opportunities and develop practical business solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to transform ideas into AI use cases.
• Act as AI Transformation Ambassador and coach colleagues.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and rethink workflows.
• Create AI applications using Generative AI, Agentic, ML and digital automation.
• Support adoption of AI capabilities across platforms and products.
• Monitor and improve AI solutions based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and agile teams to scale AI services.
• Share best practices and new ideas within the OMV AI community.
• Promote responsible AI with focus on security, compliance and ethics.

• Identify AI opportunities and develop practical business solutions that improve everyday work.
• Collaborate directly with the IT and business teams to transform ideas into impactful AI use cases.
• Act as AI Transformation Ambassador and coach colleagues on all AI related topics within the business unit
• Facilitate workshops to demonstrate AI opportunities, gather business requirements and trigger re-thinking of existing workflows
• Create AI applications using Generative AI, Agentic, Machine Learning and digital automation technologies.
• Support the adoption of AI capabilities out of enterprise platforms and digital products.
• Monitor, validate and continuously improve AI solutions based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and digital experts in agile product teams to scale AI services
• Contribute to AI communities by sharing best practices, practical examples, latest technology developments and new ideas.
• Promote responsible AI practices with a focus on security, compliance and ethical use and support AI adoption across OMV and shape the future of work.

Your profile

• You are pursuing or have just graduated with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional experience in AI, data analytics, software development or digital technologies is an advantage.
• First practical experience with Generative AI, Agentic solutions, machine learning, automation tools or data analytics and ability to apply AI & Data services within your field of expertise
• Knowledge of Python, Cloud platforms, enterprise software (SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, …) or latest AI technologies & platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, and curiosity to explore emerging technologies as well as to work with various stakeholders
• Fluent English skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 57.535,--. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
