Job summary

ams-OSRAM AG is seeking a Process Integration Engineer for CMOS technology. You will supervise manufacturing processes in collaboration with process engineering, RD, QA, and other teams to ensure robust production.

Requirements include a master’s or PhD in a relevant field, multiple years in semiconductor manufacturing, and fluency in English. Experience with 180 nm or smaller nodes is preferred. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or comparable.
• Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar industry.
• Excellent technical skills with 180 nm or smaller technology node preferred.
• Strong problem solving; Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor manufacturing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain process deliveries (FMEA, PCP, Defect Strategy) and lead discussions.
• Optimize processes to reduce costs, increase yield, and improve robustness.
• Transfer new technologies from process R&D into production.
• Report data to key customers and support audits.
• Stabilize technologies by supervising lead products.

Your new responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor manufacturing process in close teamwork with single process engineering, process RD, QA, etc.
• Maintain process deliveries (e.g. FMEA, PCP, Defect Strategy etc.), lead cross-functional discussions
• Optimize processes and solve process problems in close teamwork with different departments (e.g. Test, Product Engineering, Design, Design
  Support, QA, etc.)
• Evaluate and implement possible process simplifications / improvements in order to decrease manufacturing costs, increase process yield and
  improve product robustness
• Transfer new technologies / process modules from process RD into production
• Take PI responsibility at customer audits and for reporting requested data to key customers
• Stabilize technologies by supervising lead products

Who we are looking for

• Master degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences or comparable
• Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar industry
• Excellent technological professional skills (preferably with 180nm or smaller technology node)
• Advanced problem solving skills (beneficial: Six Sigma experience, etc.)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and willingness to work in a team environment
• Ability to adjust to fast changing environments and project working style to set up new processes
• Fluency in English
