Zusammenfassung

Starlinger & Co in Weissenbach an der Triesting seeks a Process Engineer Plastics Recycling to develop and refine modern recycling technologies, build prototypes, and support market readiness at customer sites. You will ensure smooth operation of plants with a technical eye for detail.

The role requires 3–5 years of plastics experience, German C2 and English B2, and willingness to travel. A completed plastics apprenticeship and HTL plastics tech qualification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• You have at least a completed apprenticeship as a plastics technician, ideally a qualification of a Higher Technical College in plastics technology.
• You already have a 3-5 years´ relevant experience working with thermoplastics, ideally in plastics recycling; knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems is an advantage.
• You are a communicative person who works in a customer- and solution-oriented manner.
• Your love of travel is reflected in your confidence when dealing with different cultures.
• Your German (C2) is business fluent and your English (B2) is good, both spoken and written.

Aufgaben

• You optimise all process parameters to meet customer requirements precisely.
• You oversee installation of new generations of machinery from start to ready-for-operation.
• You carry out trial runs in-house and on-site at customer sites, sometimes with customer-provided material.
• You monitor production and formulate recommendations for production planning to ensure continuous operation.
• You train customer staff on site to ensure smooth live-production runs.
• You communicate knowledgeably with management about performance capabilities and limitations of each system.
• You provide online support to assist technicians during service calls.
