The successful candidate will develop projects, supervise students, and assist with conferences and institute administration. German (B2) and English (C1) are essential.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Prehistory and Historical Archaeology or related discipline.
• Knowledge of modern archaeology (19th–21st centuries) demonstrated via training, projects or publications.
• Basic knowledge of related fields (history, art history, cultural studies).
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and research projects.
• Desirable knowledge of image-based modelling and GIS (QGIS).
• German proficiency (B2) and English proficiency (C1) are required.

Aufgaben

• Develop independent research projects aligned with ongoing programmes.
• Publish academic articles and lecture.
• Contribute to and teach courses per collective agreements.
• Supervise students and assist with conferences and admin tasks.
• Organize meetings, conferences and symposia; participate in institute administration.
