Job summary

Medical University of Vienna invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in regenerative biology and metabolism. The successful candidate will work on how metabolic processes regulate tissue regeneration across tissues, using mouse models and stem cell systems.

The project offers opportunities to develop independent research directions, employing Orbitrap-based metabolomics and in vivo tracing, with a focus on epigenetic interactions in cellular state changes.

Qualifications

• PhD in regenerative biology or related field; strong publication record.
• Experience with tissue regeneration, stem cell biology or regenerative medicine.
• Proficiency in designing experiments, data analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Establish/apply murine regeneration models and stem cell models.
• Develop independent research direction within the project.
• Apply metabolomics and in vivo isotope tracing using Orbitrap MS.
