The position is primarily computational (80–100%) with potential experimental work, and will be conducted within a collaborative AI and robotics-enabled environment.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in bioinformatics, biology, virology, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading computational biology projects.
• Strong publication record, including first-author publications.
• Experience using high-performance computing systems.
• Experience with protein-structure based bioinformatics/phylogenetics or virus-host interfaces (welcome).
• For bioinformatics scientist: at least one year of bioinformatics experience post-PhD.

Aufgaben

• Apply protein structure-based methods, including structural predictions, comparisons, and phylogenetics.
• Work 80–100% computational, with potential for experimental work.
• Collaborate with lab members and leverage AI-guided robotics infrastructure.
