Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Cost and Production Analyst to ensure accurate standard cost calculations and monthly closings at the plant level. You will partner with site management and BA Hub Controller to support P&L value creation and internal controls.

Responsibilities include inventory valuation, cost accounting, CAPEX analysis, and collaboration on ERP (SAP) implementations. The role demands strong analytical skills, integrity, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or equivalent
• 3–5 years in cost accounting or GL in industrial setting
• Ability to manage autonomous closing of books

Responsibilities

• Standard Costing: Calculate and update standard costs to ensure accurate product valuation.
• Operational Accounting: Book inventories, mining, and accruals; review journal entries.
• Month-End & Inventory Close: Close activities focused on cost accounting and inventory reporting.
• Internal Control: Define local internal control procedures for stock values.
• Stock & CAPEX: Manage stock reconciliation and review capex requests.
• Ledger Oversight: Oversee GL accounts and cost centers.
• Audit Management: Coordinate internal/external audit follow-up.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare statistics and Intrastat reports; mining provisions.
• Inventory Counts & Projects: Assist with warehouse counts and SAP projects.
